As a volunteer for Architects for Aid the task was to take over the completion of the future Lesotho Child Counselling Unit safehouse. The construction we inherited had serious faults and errors, but given the project's low budget it was not possible to knock it all down and start again.

The process which was originally supposed to take 3 months extended itself to 6, 9 month and eventually up to one year. The whole experience is documented at www.pck4a4a.blogspot.com and was also the subject of Pedro's diploma thesis.

Initial Sketch Design developed in Collaboration with Martin Dyke Coomes for A4A -Architects for Aid (now Article-25).
