SPENCER ROAD
London, UK | 2014
The refurbishment of a one-bedroom flat on Spencer Road was an experiment in combining Architecture, DIY and CNC routing to allow us to complete the changes to interior space in record one week period and for under £4,000.
To do so Camille and Pedro optimised the layout of 18mm and 24mm birch plywood so that it could be routed off-site. Finishing and installing each of the panels involved individually mitring each of the joints on site to ensure a snug fit.
The result is a warmer modern flat with a new office space making best use of the old corridor.
