QE II Playround
Maseru, Lesotho | 2007
In 2007 whilst Pedro was working on the LCCU, a small donation by the Clinton Foundation allowed us to build a small playground for the children's HIV clinic at the QE II Hospital.
Using recycled/donated tyres and tiles from one of the old wards we were able to keep the project's on budget and built a small colourful playground.
The construction took 3 days with Pedro, Camille and Liau (a volunteer from the Lerotholi Polytechnic) working till dark to get this completed on time. The tyres were then painted by the clinic's young patients.
