Oldfield Road is a conversion and roof extension project for a two storey end of terrace house in Stoke Newington.

Previously part of an existing estate, this house was originally converted from a stable building and some farm out-houses, and although it now sits at the end of a terrace has a very unique character.

Our approach to this project was to propose a slightly set back modern volume sitting on top of the existing structure, allowing us to to nod at conservationists by not altering the 'half-buterfly' roof profile to the main street, whilst creating a distinctly modern extension and interior to the house.
